Wildlife Wednesdays (Ages 5-8)
&
Junior Animal Biologist (Ages 9-14)

Delivered at the Peterborough Public Library, these engaging six week sessions introduce children to the diversity of Ontario’s wildlife through interactive storytelling, live animal visits, and hands on crafts. Each week, we focus on a different group birds, mammals, invertebrates,

reptiles, amphibians, and fish exploring their unique adaptations and teaching participants how to identify key species in our region. These programs nurture curiosity, respect, and understanding of wildlife from an early age.

The Kawartha Wildlife Foundation (KWF) is the reimagined educational arm of the Kawartha Wildlife Centre (KWC), a registered charity dedicated to supporting positive wildlife coexistence.
