About Us
The Kawartha Wildlife Foundation (KWF) is the education branch of the
Kawartha Wildlife Centre (KWC), a registered charity. We believe that education is the key to protecting wildlife, countering negative environmental changes, and fostering a sense of responsibility for our natural world. As human expansion and development increase, so do the threats to local wildlife, including habitat loss, pollution, human wildlife conflict, and climate change. KWF works to address these issues through engaging, science-based educational programs that encourage positive interactions between people and wildlife.

Our Misson
Our mission is to inspire and educate people of all ages about the importance of wildlife conservation and ethical coexistence. By providing hands-on learning experiences and practical solutions, we aim to mitigate threats to wildlife, support conservation initiatives, and encourage responsible stewardship of the natural world.

Our Vision
We envision a future where humans and wildlife thrive together in a balanced, respectful, and sustainable environment. Through education, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, we seek to build a region where every individual values and actively contributes to wildlife conservation.
